Reed Diffuser Care Guide

Our flame-free and low maintenance long lasting Home Fragrance option can be left unattended and disperses scent into the air naturally

Safety first!

You need to ensure your Reed Diffuser is out of the reach of pets and children and is placed on a higher surface which is dry and not exposed to direct sunlight. You should avoid radiators and windows as heat will make the fragrance evaporate faster.

If you suffer from perfume sensitivity then use this product with caution and use gloves when handling the Reeds once they have absorbed the liquid.

The diffuser liquid can cause damage to surfaces so ensure you use a coaster or alternative underneath.

Now to Enjoy!

Remove the bottle stopper handling with care to prevent spills. Place the fibre reeds into the fragrance and within a short space of time the reeds will start soaking up the liquid. Flip your reeds and allow the fragrance to fill the room.

If you find your fragrance is too strong simply remove some of the reeds. The less reeds you have in the bottle the slower the oil will disperse throughout the room and the less potent it will be.

Fancy something new?

On average our 100ml Reed Diffusers will last up to 2 months and our 200ml up to 4 months. This will however depend on things such as central heating, open and closed doors, dehumidifiers and air conditioning.

If you’re refilling your diffuser with the same scent then using the same reeds is fine however they should be changed at least every 6 months.

If you fancy trying something new then wash the vessel thoroughly with washing up liquid and allow it to dry. You’re then ready to go!

Reed Diffuser Care:

The ideal location will allow for the fragrance to circulate inside a room or throughout the entire house so high traffic areas such as bathrooms and hallways are ideal. They work best with air flowing around them so the middle of a room or on a unit works best. Reed Diffusers also like the warmth so the warmer the room, the stronger the fragrance.

Premium Fibre Reeds

When your Reed Diffuser is fading or no longer has a scent throw it’s time to flip the reeds which is recommended for best results every couple of days. This will enable a new burst of oil to reach the air without the reeds needing to be replaced. Here’s some benefits to our reeds:

  • Fast Wicking & Less Clogging - These reeds absorb and disperse fragrance faster. They do not clog and allow a controlled rate of fragrance release
  • Thicker sticks - One thicker reed will likely emit more scent than two thinner ones so your supply lasts longer
  • Eco - friendly material.- These reeds are lightweight and porous. They will scent your home beautifully and act as decorative peices

Important Safety Notice

DO NOT under any circumstances light your reeds as this product is highly flammable.
